Barn Owl

Joanne and I went for a walk aroun the Lake this morning in somewhat overcast conditions. No sooner had we reached the top of Ealees Valley, Joanne said "What's that white bird there?" and putting my bins up, was greeted by a Barn Owl flying around over the hillside. It quartered the hill for a short while then appeared to land, but we were unable to locate exactly where it had gone.
