2 Goosander, GC Grebes Long-tailed Tits, Treecreeper, Kingfisher
Quite clear this morning walking around anti-clockwise, with temperature 2°C. Very quiet though. Two Goosander present, one flew off toward Clegg Hall. Most exciting thing was a Great Crested Grebe catching a fish.
In the afternoon I went round Watergrove hoping for Red-throated Diver and Brambling, but saw neither. Best birds were a Treecreeper giving nice views in the shade of some overhanging trees, and a Kingfisher on the opposite bank of the lagoon next to the path.
I had a look through the gull roost at the Lake last thing, but couldn't find any interesting gulls, though there were 7 Gadwall swimming through the roost - 5males and 2 females.
