Mute Swan, Redwings, Long-tailed Tits, pair Goosander
Dull, becoming brighter.
I had an early start due to an impending tradesman visit, so it was quite dull when I started. A Mute Swan was on the water, but after a short while took off and headed towards Clegg Hall. As the morning wore on, it became brighter, and a few Redwings started to show, but were typically elusive. As I walked past the Cafe, a pair of Goosander flew past and appeared to land on the far side, so I set of in that direction. A party of Long-tailed Tits fed in waterside bushes just beyond the Activity hut, but the light here wasn't so good. As I reached the SW corner, the Goosander were still present just off the shoreline, and proceeded to perform quite well, although I didn't have too much time to watch them.
