2 f/imm Goldeneye, Tufted Duck, 3 m. Goosander

Intermittent showers. Very overcast.  Waited for a so-called clearer period in today's heavy rain, and walked around anti-clockwise.  When I reached the hide, I was surprised to see two female/immature Goldeneye quite close in, to the left of the hide.  I took a lot of photos but the light was terrible and results are distinctly grainy.  At one point they swam directly in front of the hide but even this didn't help.  A drake Tufted seemed to be the only remaining one from the recent party of 7, and three drake Goosander were on the water, one on the reserve and two near the road.

Several Redwings were in the pavilion wood, and a couple of Jays were the only other highlights.
