3 Gadwall, Goosanders, 5 Tufted Ducks
The cold weather continues, with clear conditions and freezing temperatures. Three Gadwall were close inshore just off Rakewood Road, maybe pushed off Clegg Hall due to frost. The pair of Goosander seem to be spending time close to the water's edge too, which seems to be a regular thing with the cold weather. A party of 5 Tufted Ducks were new in, close to the reserve but I didn't have time to photograph them properly. Other birds included a nice Pied Wagtail on the overflow and lots of Common Gulls.
