Oystercatcher, Redwings, Goldeneye, Goosander
Mild, but overcast and rather breezy, 10°C. On arrival at the car park, the Oystercatcher with the left-leg ring could be seen, along with a Lesser Black-back and a couple of Common Gulls among the Black-headeds.
The female/imm Goldeneye was in its usual spot, and a small group of Redwings flew over near the Pavilion wood. On the reserve, 5 Tufted Ducks were new in from yesterday, and around half a dozen Teal were whistling and engaging in some courtship behaviour. Didn't get around in the afternoon due to a heavy downpour.
