3 Common Scoter

Highlight of this morning's fairly brief visit was a little party of 3 Common Scoters - two drakes and a duck.   Typically, they were more or less out in the middle of the water and hence quite distant, and the light was once again rather gloomy.  At one point they were harassed by a gull and took to flight, but only flew a few yards before settling down again on the water.
