Great White Egret, various insects

Apart from the Great White Egret, there wasn't much to be seen on the bird front, so I spent most of my time on invertebrates again. There were a couple of deja-vu type moments where firstly, I came across a nice fresh adult Ancylis badiana after yesterday's leaf spinning, though in a completely different spot. This was by the main path after the gate.  Nearby was another Green Shieldbug 4th instar and more Bohemannia pulverosella mines on Apple. An unidentified leafhopper rested on a Rosebay Willowherb plant, but these seem rather difficult to ID. I ventured into the 'willow' triangle and found some leafmines on Hazel - Parornix anglicella, which makes a squarish or triangular brown patch and then folds the leaf edge over.  Also some mines on the upper leaf surface caused by Phyllonorycter coryli.  (The other Hazel-feeding Phyllonorycter, nicelli, creates mines on the underside). On the same leaf was a vacated Stigmella mine, presumed microtheriella. 

Back home in the garden, I was surprised to find a couple of the Green Shieldbug nymphs, and while I had the camera out, photographed a small Garden spider and a 'Greenbottle' (Lucilia sp.).
