Pectoral Sandpiper, Wood Sandpiper, Ruff, Little Gulls, Mediterranean Gulls

Banks Marsh: Wood Sandpiper, several Ruff, Pectoral Sandpiper: Adult - Indistinct supercilium, white V on back and pale scapular edgings not so prominent as in a juvenile. Legs dark flesh, bill dark at tip, paler at base.

Seaforth Dock: Several Common Terns; 2 Little Gulls - one 2nd summer, one 1st summer.  2 Mediterranean Gulls, one 2nd summer/winter with patchy black head pattern and a little black on outer primaries; one juvenile, looking brown and scaly but very neat when on ground; quite distinctive in flight, as first-winter.
