Siskins, Fieldfares, Stock Doves

A typically overcast morning today, with not much to shout about in the way of birds, though there were a few interesting titbits to be had. Two Stock Doves were in the fields beyond the pond at Rakewood Road, but right on the crest and hard to pick out. On the corner of the path where the Alders grow, around 10 or so Siskins were feeding inconspicuously. There was quite a breeze, so even picking them out in the dull light with the branches swaying and leaves rustling was a challenge, let alone getting a photo!

Around the Big Hedge, three Fieldfares were present, and one sat up in full view briefly, chak-chakking away.

Around near Queens' Bay, some interesting looking fungus were in the sheep field, though I'm not sure what they are - some kind of Waxcap I think.
