7 Common Scoter

Simon found 7 Common Scoter on the lake this morning; they were still there when I arrived at around 08:30 - 6 females and a male. As usual they were quite distant, out in the middle of the water, but I went back again at lunchtime in the car and they were a little closer, visible from the road and photographed from the car between the railings!
