Blackcap
Calm, sunny, cool
The sun was shining today, and all was calm. I half expected to hear Willow Warbler on the reserve, but only Chiffchaffs were singing. However, when I reached the Pavilion area, I heard the unmistakeable song of Blackcap, and after scanning around, managed to locate the bird, perched in a Hawthorn in the field close to the wood. I don't think the photos will win any competitions, but it's another shot for the record!
