Great Reed Warbler, Spoonbill, Turtle Dove, Marsh Harrier
The weather looked OK again this morning so after leaving the B&B we decided to try again at Snettisham for the Great Reed Warbler which was still present. This time we managed to find the correct location but it was quite a stroll along the raised footpath. Some good birds on the way, including Spoonbill, Turtle Dove and Marsh Harrier, and as we approached the kissing gate I could hear the Great Reed Warbler singing. Soon after, it crept up a stem and continued to sing in partial view. We watched for half an hour or so, during which time the bird appeared and disappeared, though it never quite came into full view. Great views through the scope however.
On the way back to the car, a Sedge Warbler appeared, and we heard Cetti's Warbler singing, but weren't able to see the latter. A couple of Muntjac were strolling out in the open too.
