Lammergeier, Ravens, Ring Ouzels

Went for a trip up to Crowden to see the Lammergeier with Joanne.  It was a pleasant, warm and sunny day, and the car park was busy as hell.  However once we parked up and walked up to the viewing spot, the Lammergeier was perched on a distant outcrop.  Good scope views but not much use with the camera.  After a while it took off and gradually soared higher and higher, being mobbed by Ravens. It then disappeared over the distant hills, and after a couple of hours reappeared on its original perch.  It took off again and soared around for quite a while before disappearing again, after which we left.

Near to where we were stationed, a number of Ring Ouzels were present, flitting back and forth in a nearby tree.
