Manx Shearwaters, Elegant Tern

Lots of Manx Shearwaters, Auks, Gannets, Kittiwakes

Greencastle - Carlingford Loch
Elegant Tern: Slightly larger than Sandwich Tern, with proportionately longer bill, bright orange, paler near tip. Crest more upright than Sandwich Tern. Forehead speckled with white. Slight pinkish flush on breast. Flight behaviour similar to Sandwich Tern.
