Goosander, various Gulls, Robin (photo)

A clear spell in the recent dull rainy weather was a nice surprise this morning, though there was little about to get too excited over. A drake Goosander was off the pavilion spit and nearby a Robin perched up at close range in decent light for once.  The usual Cormorants were perched on their spots, drying their wings.  At the car park a few large gulls were on the jetty for useful study, including a 1st cycle Herring Gull and adult Lesser Black-back and Herring Gulls, the latter missing a foot!
