House Martin, Swallows, Goldfinch

Not much to report from this morning, but at lunchtime I walked over to Shaw Moss instead of going round the lake.  A heron was on the pools, along with Moorhen, but not much else; however a few hirundines appeared, along with my first House Martin of the year.  I spent a few minutes trying to photograph them but just as abruptly they disappeared. 

One the way back up the path, a Goldfinch fed on Dandelion seeds at the side of the path.
