Western & Red-necked Grebes, Killdeer, Common Loon, Steller's Jay, American Kestrel, American Dipper, Ring-billed Gulls
Today was our last day in Peachland, and I decided to try Power's Creek early on. Not much there unfortunately over and above what I'd seen previously - 1 Western and 1 Red-necked Grebe, c.90 American Coot, 2 Killdeer and a single Common Loon.
In the afternoon, Sandra and Jean took us to Fitzpatrick Winery in Summerland, where there were 2 Steller's Jays and an American Kestrel.
An evening walk down at the mouth of Trepanier Creek in Peachland rewarded me with an American Dipper on the creek, 2 or 3 Steller's Jay, 2 or 3 Flickers and on the beach were c.20 Ring-billed Gulls along with half a dozen Common Mergansers and single Red-necked and Horned Grebes.
