Peregrine

Went round on bike this morning; Usual suspects from hide, nothing exceptional. Very quiet until I got round to near the dam wall when I spotted a raptor high above. Got the bins on it and realised it was a Peregrine.  It was quite high and silhouetted against the sky but managed a number of shots before it stooped at great speed across the lake in the direction of Milbury Drive where it dropped between the trees.  A few minutes later it flew back overhead, this time much lower, but didn't have time to get the camera out.  It seemed to have something in its talons so the stoop must have been successful.
