5 Buzzards, 2 Redpoll

Still warm and pleasant but I was feeling a bit sorry for myself having contracted the lurgy, so only had a quick walk around the lake with nothing exciting to see.

From the garden in the afternoon, I spotted a Buzzard high up and then as I watched it was joined by three more, and then another, with five in the air together, probably a record for the garden.  Unfortunately I couldn't get all five in the viewfinder at once but managed to capture four of them.

A pair of Redpoll visited the feeders briefly at one point, and a male House Sparrow was collecting nesting material, including a Woodpigeon feather which looked a bit of a handful (well, a mouthful anyway!).
