8 Gadwall, 5 Goosander, Drake Goldeneye, Green Sandpiper

Cold and clear this morning, but didn't get round early.  However, stopped off after dropping Nick off in Littleborough and scanned over the water near the reserve. Was surprised to see a party of 8 Gadwall on the far side near the path, as well as a Drake Goldeneye.

Had a walk round a little later, but the Gadwall had moved into the middle of the lake.  Around 5 Goosander were present, split into two groups, and as I sat in the hide, a Green Sandpiper flew around a few times, but didn't land, before flying off.
