juv. Redpoll, Sand Martins
This morning's walk was relatively quiet; the weather was bright but overcast, and the best bird was probably a young Lesser Redpoll that was feeding from a wire fence next to the path; it was quite confiding but unfortunately some dog walkers came along and flushed it before I had chance to take too many pictures. Slightly further on, a few Sand Martins were flitting around over the water, but proved to be difficult to capture on film, as usual.
