2 Avocets before work - found by Andrew

Had a message through from Andrew whilst making breakfast that there were two Avocets on the nature reserve. Dashed to the lake on my bike and the birds were still present, showing well on the mud on the edge of the reserve, and visible from the road. The weather was overcast, quite dull with some light rain. However, managed to sneak a few shots before heading off to work. Apparently they had gone by late morning, and subsequently there was a report of two at Audenshaw; possibly the same birds?
