Arctic Skua, Manx Shearwater, Mediterranean Gulls, Garganey, Grey Seals, Dolphins
Had a trip out to Flamborough and Bempton with the boys. The seawatching was a bit tricky in the morning because of the light but we had a few Arctic Skuas and the odd Manx Shearwater. At South Landing we saw a good selection of waders and two juv/imm Mediterranean Gulls. A detour to Buckton revealed that the immature Garganey was still present on the pool just inland from the roadside pond, and then later on we returned to Flamborough for a bit more seawatching. We did encounter a good passage of Dolphins, but I somehow managed to mess up the camera settings and failed to get any photos, but there were plenty of Grey Seals about.
