Teal, Snipe, Common Buzzard

A pleasant walk around this morning in bright sunshine revealed not too much of interest initially.  Teal numbers continue to build slowly on the reserve, and one female type was feeding in the channel just to the left of the hide, where a Snipe also lurked in the shadows.

There wasn't too much else to see as I walked up past Turnough, but as I arrived at Shaw Moss, two Buzzards were circling above the hill.  One eventually came down and landed on a Telegraph pole in the middle of the valley, then moved to one by the path where it allowed reasonably close approach before making off again across the valley, allowing some nice flight shots.
