Goosander

A quick walk around this morning before work in bright sunshine revealed a pair of Goosander feeding quite close to the path in the south-west corner of the lake.  The light was pretty harsh, but it's the first time I've managed to get close enough and in bright enough conditions to actually see the eye of the drake!
