Barn Owl, Pinkfeet (heard), Swallows

Calm but rather dull this morning.  Not much moving, just a few Swallows going through.  I did hear Pinkfeet overhead at one point, but I wasn't able to locate them.

When I reached the Dam Wall at Bib Knowl I did my usual scan and saw a bird on a distant fence, which at first I thought was either a Woodpigeon or a Sparrowhawk.  When I got my bins on it, I realised it was a Barn Owl!  It didn't look especially happy, but stayed there the whole time I had available. Unfortunately it wasn't possible to get much closer, and I was late for work anyway.
