Roe Deer, Long-tailed Tit, Willow Warbler, Large Red Damselfly

Warm and sunny again today, blue sky everywhere.  The Roe Deer was feeding out in the open again on the reserve visible from the road.  Most birds are busy feeding young at the moment, and I came across a Long-tailed Tit on the overhead cables with a beakful of insects, and further round, a Willow Warbler had a mouthful too.  The latter seemed to have a selection of sawfly larvae and at least one adult Mayfly.

By the path, a Large Red Damselfly perched in the sunshine long enough to get a couple of photos. Apparently one distinguishing feature (from Small Red Damselfly) is the stripy eye (though Small Red is much scarcer and probably unlikely round here).
