Wren singing in garden, Pied Wagtail, Red Admiral etc.
I was up very early this morning and had a trip round the lake on my bike prior to 6am. A wren was singing at the bottom of the garden, but silhouetted against the sun. Little to report at the lake, though a Pied wagtail posed briefly at the overflow.
At Congleton, a Red Admiral was in the garden (and a Painted Lady), but only the former was caught on film. An afternoon in the garden produced only the usual suspects.
