Goldeneye, Goosander, Great Crested Grebe, Tree Sparrow (garden)

No visit this morning due to heavy rain, but the weather cleared up in the afternoon, so a lunchtime walk was on.  A Tree Sparrow reappeared in the garden after a few days' absence, mainly due to me not putting out food regularly enough, but at least one is still around. Also a female Bullfinch.

At the lake, a few Herring and Lesser Black-backed Gulls were around the jetty, and in the SW corner, a Great Crested Grebe caught a fish (a perch I think) and proceeded to rinse it in the water before swallowing it down. Around 5 or so Goosanders are still around, moving around on the water.

On the reserve, a drake Goldeney was something of a surprise, though it was in the far corner and only partially visible behinde the tree branches.  Also, three Tufted Duck still on the reserve.
