5 Wigeon, Stock Dove, Med Gull
Back to desultory overcast (and quite wet) conditions this morning. I did notice a small party of ducks flying around and these proved to be 5 Wigeon; I managed some silhouette shots, but they didn't seem to land, and shortly afterwards were gone. When I reached the turnoff to the reserve from Rakewood Road, I spotted a Stock Dove on a dry stone wall, sat between two Woodpigeons for convenient comparison.
Little else was noted on the rest of my walk until I got back to the Rowing Club car park, where the faithful Mediterranean Gull was on the shoreline, asleep with a few other gulls.
