Sparrowhawk, 2 Chiffchaff
There was a nice surprise this morning as I was making breakfast. I looked up and saw a female Sparrowhawk perched on the back garden fence not too far from the house. I managed to grab the camera and fire off some shots, but through the glass of the patio doors. I tried to gently open the door, but she got spooked and flew off.
At the lake, it was fairly quiet again, but I had two different Chiffchaffs singing. One close to the road where it appeared a few days ago, and another in the South-west corner by the track.
