Spotted Flycatchers, Kingfisher

Seems there has been something of a migrant fall overnight. Simon has had several Spotted Flycatchers at Shaw Moss (actually turns out Alan had 6 there later), and several more around the Lake, including Big hedge.  An estimated 11 Spotted Flycatchers in the area today.  Simon also had Redstart and Garden Warbler at Big Hedge.

I walked around in the afternoon and had perhaps 4 Spotted Flycatchers at Shaw Moss, 3 together in Big Hedge (also the Garden Warbler), and good views of Kingfisher in front of the hide. Unfortunately I only had my compact camera with me, and no tripod, but did alright considering..
