Shelduck, Swallows, Grey Heron

Just a morning trip today.  Not much from the hide except the Grey Heron perched in its favourite spot; it didn't attempt any fishing while I was there though.  Very little else to report after that; A pair of Swallows looked as if they might offer some photo opportunities in the bay close to Peanock Farm, but the light was harsh and they were gone too quickly.

As I was just about to leave, I noticed a duck flying over quite high, and getting the bins on it realised it was a Shelduck, the first of the year.  It continued to fly around overhead for several circuits, but didn't appear to want to come down, and I had to get back for work, so left it circling.
