Roe Deer, Stigmella plagicolella
A quick walk around this morning revealed a buck Roe Deer (or a Roebuck presumably) feeding on the nature reserve again. Just beyond the hide I found a leaf mine of Stigmella plagicolella on Blackthorn. I don't think I've encountered that species locally before.
Not much else to report, but there are quite a few nice Yarrow plants popping up on the stony bank along the wall that overlooks Bib Knowl valley.
