Mediterranean Gull gaining its summer hood on the jetty, with a pair of muddy-billed Oystercatchers at Hollingworth Lake
Once again this morning the Med Gull was on the Jetty by the car park amongst the Black-headeds. It is gradually acquiring its summer plumage - the head getting a little darker and less white showing every time you see it. Also a pair of Oystercatchers were also present, obviously having been feeding in nearby fields, with muddy bills!
