Great Spotted Woodpecker, Treecreeper, Nuthatch, Redwings
Clear & cool, c. 1°C.
A walk around this morning produced several new for the year species, but nothing outstanding. A Great Spotted Woodpecker sat at the top of a tree for a little while near Bear Hill, and several Greenfinch were around here. In the Pavilion Wood, Nuthatch, Treecreeper and several Redwings were all new for the year. A couple of drake Goosander were on the far side by the straight wall, fairly close in, but swam away as people approached them.
