Gatekeeper, Small White, Chiffchaff

The hottest day on record today - reached 37°C in the afternoon, but was already 27°C at 9am when I was walking around the lake. 

Understandably there wasn't too much moving, but a nice Small White and my first Gatekeeper for some time were highlights on the butterfly front.  A Chiffchaff fed in the roadside trees just opposite the reserve, and came quite close at one point but was too quick for me to get anything really good on film.
