2 Snipe, Roe Deer

Warm and slightly hazy this morning;  a Roebuck was on the reserve, feeding on leaves hanging down from the bushes.  A nice turnup was a pair of Snipe that fed on the opposite bank from the hide, until a Moorhen decided that they were occupying its territory and chased them off!

A little further round, a young Swallow was feeding over the water, allowing some opportunities for photography, but not for long unfortunately.

A Green Carpet in the garden was a bit of a cheat - I ran the moth trap last night and managed to get this one to pose on the Hawthorn.
