Goldcrest, Mediterranean Gull

Had a good walk round this morning, trying to see as many species as possible.  By the time I'd reached Queens Bay on the return leg, I'd only managed 31 species, the highlight being Goldcrest. However, as I was scanning through the gulls on the water in the SE corner of the lake, I suddenly realised there was a Med Gull amongst them.  It wasn't too close, but it sat on the water and allowed me to approach the water's edge to get a slightly better view and some pics.  A couple of times it flew around and settled again with the other gulls, and eventually I left it, but as I walked a little further and scanned again I couldn't see it, so I'm not sure if it may have flown off.
