15 October 2022 - Hollingworth Lake
Around 50 Redwings around the big hedge, with plenty of Lapwings and a Common Gull over Bib Knowl at Hollingworth Lake
Not too much around today in somewhat duller conditions with a cold wind. However a decent party (maybe 50 or so) Redwings were moving around the Big Hedge and around the back of the fields behind the hide. From within the hide I saw another group of 30 or so overhead, but these could have been from the same party.
Lots of Lapwings about and a few Teal on the reserve, but little else to report. Reaching the top of Bib Knowl, a Common Gull flew over, so I tried some flight shots with only limited results.
