Fieldfares

A nice change from the dull and overcast conditions this morning, with clear blue skies, although not too many birds to get excited about.  The highlight was a small group of 4 or 5 Fieldfares in the trees near Peanock Farm.  I heard the 'chak-chak' call, then spotted a single bird perched in the top of a tall tree in the sunshine.  As I approached, it flew, and several others followed it, that must have been perched in the trees nearby.
