6 Goosander, 4 Coot, Nuthatch, Fieldfare

We're now in the middle of the Arctic cold snap. Temperature this morning was -7°C and the lake is around 90% frozen.  A couple of patches of open water held most of the birds, but nothing too extraordinary.  6 Goosander and 4 Coot were on a patch of water near the cafe, along with plenty of gulls and Canada Geese.

Elsewhere, I've been trying to capture a Robin in the snowy or frosty conditions, and got some photos this morning, though I'm not totally happy with them.  I also photographed a few gulls standing and sitting on the ice, on the far side of the lake.
