4 Pochard, 5 Wigeon, Goldeneye, c.90 Teal, 2 Great Crested Grebes
After yesterday's bright sunshine, this morning was completely overcast with very low cloud but still perfectly calm, and still cold at 0°C. As sometimes occurs in such conditions, there had been an overnight arrival of ducks. Four Pochard (3 males) were the highlight, with 5 Wigeon, a female Goldeneye and at least 90 Teal scattered on the open water. A couple of Great Crested Grebes were also new in, and 3 Coot were present (though these may have been around a few days).
Conditions weren't at all good for photography, so I just managed a couple of record shots.
