Little Grebe, Kingfisher, Stock Doves, Swallow

Fairly pleasant still and sunny conditions this morning, and on the reserve was a Little Grebe, my first of the year at the Lake.  A juv cormorant sat on the edge of the stony island and the Kingfisher appeared briefly in front of the hide.  Heading towards Bib Knowl, a Stock Dove was in the top field again, shimmering in the heat haze.  At Peanock Farm, a Swallow perched on the wires above me for a while, singing away.
