Kingfisher, Roe Deer
Somewhat drizzly this morning, and by the time I'd reached the hide, the rain was rather more persistent. However, I managed to finally catch up with one of the Kingfishers that have been showing regularly to other hide dwellers lately. I didn't notice it fly in, but spotted it on one of the posts to the right of the hide. Pity the light wasn't a bit better. It soon flew left though, and spent a fair time on a post in the channel, but more distantly. At one point a Black-headed Gull usurped it from its perch, and it sat on the bank for a while. After about 10 minutes, it flew off round the back of the reserve.
Three Roe Deer also fed at the back end of the reserve.
