Kestrel, Ravens, Goldcrests, Wheatear, Redwings
Went with Joanne to St. Bees Head in the hope of finding a migrant such as Yellow-browed. We walked up the hill along the grassy cliff edge and came across a number of Goldcrests in the Gorse bushes, but no Yellow-browed. A Wheatear was the only other migrant of note, though a party of Redwings flew across the field nearby. A couple of Ravens flew just off the cliff edge.
On the way back, an obliging female Kestrel perched on a fence and allowed me to get fairly close for some footage. A little closer to the car park, a Raven was perched in a field at quite close range but flew before I could get the camera on it. (Later on, realised there'd been a Yellow-browed Warbler in the vicinity, at the Church Yard/Cemetery, but didn't know at the time).
