Tresco: Black Duck, Willow Warbler, Garden Warbler, Gadwall, Wigeon,
Bean Goose: Slightly larger than White-fronted Goose. Bill quite long, orange with black in centre and at tip. Legs orange. Scapulars brown, edged white. Greater coverts greyish, no pale edges . Rest of flight feathers brown, edged white. White bar between wing and flanks. Head and upper neck noticeably darker brown than rest of body. Underbelly paler than breast. Fairly pronounced darker streaks on flanks, less so on mantle.
White-fronted Goose: Bill short, pale pinkish. Greyish patch between nostril and base of bill. White patch extending onto forehead to about level of eye. Darker wash around eye and edge of white patch. Rest of head and neck similar colour to breast. Much less prominent white edging on mantle than Bean Goose. Underparts paler with heavy black barring. Legs more yellowish than Bean Goose.
Holy Vale, St. Mary's: Arctic Warbler: Similar to the Spurn bird, but supercilium not quite as long, and wingbar not as distinctive; more active however.
