Kestrel, Clavulina rugosa (fungus)
A pleasant walk around in the sunshine revealed very little in the way of birds, but I came across an interesting looking fungus on a stump in Pavilion wood. It had the appearance of fingers or 'teeth', and subsequent research led me to believe it is Clavulina rugosa (though I'm not certain).
At Shaw Moss, a female Kestrel was perched on a telegraph pole.
