Little Ringed Plover, Oystercatchers, Pied Wagtail
A nice Little Ringed Plover was performing fairly close to the road this morning in the sunshine; unfortunately there's no way to get down to eye level with the birds at the lake, so you're always looking down on top of them. A couple of Oystercatchers were on the spit by the Pavilion cafe, and nearby, a male Pied Wagtail had a beak stuffed full of juicy insects (caddis flies I think).
